As an intern for The Commerce Bank of Washington, you will be embedded with IT Operations. You will work on all aspects of technology from end user computing to software development. A successful intern will leverage senior employees to complete projects and tasks on time. You will be expected to learn quickly and adapt. Exiting the internship, you will have developed valuable skills and have completed several projects to include on your resume.
Duties:
- Assist field services with ongoing projects and coverage
- Participate in all aspects of the Technology Operations Department
- Hold scheduled training events with bank staff
- Assist operational team members with daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
- Participate in planning meetings to document deliverables
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program with 3.0+ GPA
- Windows 11 and Office 365 support experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Positive team attitude with the ability to get along well with other staff members
- Excellent speaking, writing and communication skills
- Personal presence, professionalism
- Excellent organizational skills: ability to prioritize and meet frequent deadlines
- The ability to collaborate independently yet closely with other staff
- Creativity and optimism as an analytical person
- Flexibility and eagerness to learn
Reports to
Senior Business Technology Platform Manager and IT Operations Manager
Work location
Seattle, WA, full-time in office. Remote work not available.
Hours
8-5 PM, Monday through Friday, excludes Banking Holidays. These hours may be adjusted to accommodate meetings and projects.

This position is eligible to earn a base wage of $22.00 hourly.
